Using Zoom with Lyntra

A guide to connecting, using, and disconnecting the Zoom integration.

What the Zoom integration does

Coaches can connect their own Zoom account to Lyntra to create meetings for coaching sessions directly from the app. When a meeting is created, Lyntra places it on the coach's canonical calendar automatically. Lyntra only accesses what is needed to create and manage these meetings — it does not access recordings, chat, or meeting content.

1. Adding (connecting) Zoom

  1. In the Lyntra app, go to Settings → Zoom.
  2. Select Connect Zoom. You will be taken to Zoom to sign in and review the permissions Lyntra is requesting.
  3. Approve the request. You will be returned to Lyntra, and the Zoom integration screen will show your account as connected.

2. Using the integration

Create a meeting

From the Zoom integration screen, select Create a meeting. Enter a topic, choose a date, time, and duration, and confirm. The meeting is created in Zoom and a matching event is placed on your Lyntra calendar.

If calendar placement fails

Meeting creation and calendar placement are two separate steps. If the Zoom meeting is created but the calendar event fails to appear, the meeting list will show a Retry calendar sync option — this retries only the calendar step, without creating a duplicate Zoom meeting.

Cancel a meeting

Select a meeting from your list and choose Cancel to remove it from both Zoom and your Lyntra calendar.

3. Removing (disconnecting) Zoom

  1. Go to Settings → Zoom.
  2. Select Disconnect. This revokes Lyntra's access to your Zoom account and removes the stored connection.
  3. You can also remove access at any time directly from your Zoom account settings under Connected Apps — Lyntra is notified automatically and removes the stored connection on our side as well.
